As the youngest of four children, I was born on 1 March, a cold winter's day. Even as a small boy, I knew that music was my life. After the recorder, at the age of 10 I learnt to play the instrument that still fascinates me most today: the saxophone.

In 1998, I received an offer from a Swiss company to work as a product specialist in Singapore for two years. I also used this opportunity to perform in various clubs in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia. These experiences encouraged, moved and supported me on my way to becoming a professional musician.

During my subsequent one-year trip around the world, I not only got to know many different people from all walks of life, but also broadened my musical horizons. The beauty of nature and the diverse cultures left unforgettable traces that are still reflected in my creativity today.

After my return to Switzerland in July 2001, I founded AWIANCE Music, thus realising a lifelong dream. Since then I have mostly performed as a saxophone soloist, but I also like to set interesting accents with the didgeridoo - a favourite souvenir of my world tour. To appeal to even more senses, I also perform with dancers, percussionists and singers. What wishes do you have? The ideas are almost limitless when it comes to making people forget their everyday lives, laugh, dance and enjoy themselves.
